DESCRIPTIF DU POSTE

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To ensure daily requirements of the production area are met on all assigned equipment and to assist with the troubleshooting on the designated equipment.

TÂCHES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Validate and approve first off
  •  Set up any equipment in designated area
  •  Responsible for quality, production and safety targets for designated line
  •  Training of all personnel in designated area
  •  Preparation of required material to run the designated line
  •  Clean equipment including but not limited to roller application and glue pots
  •  Purging and refilling glue from equipment/ dowel insertion and replenishing
  •  Ensure proper quality control of finished product
  •  Prepare required material for end product
  •  Notify supervisor of quality defects
  •  All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  •  Strong mechanical aptitude
  •  Ability to train and share knowledge
  •  Effective communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
  •  Ability to read drawings
  •  Comprehension of written documentation

REQUIRED TRAINING:

  •  All applicable Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
  •  Olon specific training for designated position

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:

  •  Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on occasion

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To plan, organize, direct, and control all Olon operations at designated plant/ warehouse.

TÂCHES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ? Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets.
  • ? Review and approve major projects, production plans, product engineering changes, capital investment, cost estimates, and facility and production requirements.
  • ? Develops strategic plan by studying manufacturing productivity trends and financial results
  • ? Plan and manage the operations budget, P&L responsibility relating to plant costs.
  • ? Creates annual budgets, and assists with annual CAPEX project list
  • ? Drives LEAN and CI principles by implementation of LEAN tools. Creates a visual workplace
  • ? Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products.
  • ? Obtains profit contribution by managing staff (production, maintenance, supervisors, logistics, scheduling, and purchasing) while establishing and accomplishing business objectives.
  • ? Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work.
  • ? Maintains quality and service levels by establishing and enforcing work standards
  • ? Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
  • ? Develop and implement internal policies and procedures.
  • ? Supports and enforces safety regulations.
  • ? Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community, and employees; enforces eth-ical business practices.
  • ? Review objectives in each functional area of operations and creates atmosphere for employee growth and suc-cession plans.
  • ? Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicates values and basics.
  • ? Train and oversee training of employees in the use of equipment or production techniques and quality require-ments.
  • ? Develop and communicate clearly and consistently to all associates and guide reports and achievement of common goals.
  • ? Coordinates facility level events to motivate workforce
  • ? All other duties as required.

VP of Operations
 

SUPERVISES:

Production Supervisor, Production Coordinator, Shipping / Receiving Supervisor, Production Scheduler, Accounting Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • ? Well-developed administrative and management skills.
  • ? Proven ability to train and motivate a diverse team through developing standards, coaching and team coordina-tion.
  • ? Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities with focus on financial planning.
  • ? Result oriented with the ability to balance business objectives.
  • ? Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
  • ? Thorough working knowledge of: Materials (negotiation, MRP, supplier partnership, scheduling) Quality (Compatibility studies, SPC, supplier certification, process controls) Manufacturing (tooling, machinery and equipment process flow)

REQUIRED EDUCATION/ TRAINING:

  • ? Completion of a college program in Engineering or Business Administration is an asset.
  • ? Five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing required.
  • ? LEAN experience with Green Belt certification as a strong benefit.
  • ? All applicable Occupational Safety and Healthy regulations.
  • ? Olon specific training for designated position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:

  • ? Ability to work in a Plant and Office environment.
  • ? Ability to travel, including occasional international travel requiring a passport
